I pried off the stand then painted in layers, sanded, even scored through the wet paint at times till I got just what I thought was right. Gift for my friend with rooster themed country kitchen.
Whatever the question was, you're absolutely right... wine is always the answer! I really like this project, and how cool that you use those wooden roosters! Michael's always has interesting things in that wood aisle!
