Altered Jersey

My in-laws love the Washington Nationals baseball team.  Their favorite player is Ivan Rodriguez, affectionately nicknamed "Pudge."  They are even planning a trip to Florida this spring to watch a pre-season game knowing that he may not be playing for Washington next year but hopeful to see him while at another team.  Last Christmas my mother in law recieved a jersey from us...this year it is my father in law...however nicknames cannot be put on jerseys.  Ha! I say!  Looky here!

Kenzie is 6!

For a good friend I work with who is amazingly talented with digital imaging - a shirt for the birthday girl to go with the theme of her birthday party!

Sleepover Pillowcases

Last year my mother in law started a Halloween Sleepover for my sister in law who is an Angel with Down’s Syndrome. Although 38 she has the spirit of a pre-teen and is very active in the community programs for challenged adults where she has a core group of friends that I have the privilege of also spending time with. Last year we carved craft pumpkins. This year my craft was Sleepover Pillowcases! Using Heat n Bond, an assortment of cotton material, and my Expression I pre-cut butterflies, flowers, stars, hearts, and each first letter of the girls’ names. With the same assortment for each I had them arrange the pieces on the pillowcase for their unique design and I ironed for them.
